Let’s get some positivity into this. Man for man we have tbe better players. We have the best manager in world football. We have the crowd behind us. We are due a win against them. We are the best club/team in the land and all the world. A City team in transition is still far better than the also rags from outside Manchester. City 3 rags 1, you saw it here first.

I think a lot of us think myself included that
The next game we will just click and perform like the team that’s won everything
Only to finally realise that things have changed and we are no longer that team anymore or at least at the moment.
A convincing win today will have some fans
Talking about blip over and normal service has resumed. All I know is I trust that the manager and players are doing everything they can to succeed. I think we all need a positive result today for many reasons but the main one is to shut these cocky fucking rags up and stop them turning another fucking corner.

The CWC bollocked any chance of a proper pre-season. So no matter what happened, we was never going to hit the ground running.
Pep did fuck up refreshing the team on time. And fuck this "small squad" bollocks. Injuries have always sorted out players getting game time.
So many players arriving at the same time with no real pre-season will mean the worse isn't over yet. So a loss today doesn't mean what the rest of the season will look like.
There is nothing wrong with aiming for top four for now. It may mean that is our level going forwards. I doubt that, but let's see etc.
Judging new players on a handful of (out of form) matches shows people lack of football knowledge or maturity. Nobody had a great season last year.
Donnarumma will make at least one mistake today. Someone on here will post the famous "he shouldn't ever wear the shirt again" line. It's embarrassing.

We are shit at the moment, so are they. I know which side/manager i want going forwards.

I have a positive. Unless we get absolutely hammered goal difference should keep us out of the bottom three if we lose, lol.

Thought we would demolish Spuds, then hoped that was a blip and we would click at Brighton.

Same thoughts for today really.

There is one at 20.16 that gets in at midnight but I managed to anticipate the ko time and got a great deal on a hotel
Much more civilised.

Strangely the last direct train on a Saturday is 2 hours earlier.
 
Hate derby day. The mere thought of losing to them, however likely/unlikely sickens me. And the fact that they've got (IIRC) a not too bad a record at our place over the last few years doesn't help.
