Why is Ederson starting over Ortega?

my guess is since we lack some one like rodri, pep is forced to play high line to squeeze and support midfield. Eddie is a better sweeper keeper than ortega and also when he played those games , other teams pressed us and got tangled in the middle leaving huge space on both sides . In these situations eddie is perfect for both sweeper and his specialty long range ball to haaland .

I think more than anything it’s a game between the two managers and how both teams are set up. If Gundogan is left in defensive midfield against two of them including Mount then I think we are fucked unless Haaland starts to pop in every chance he gets. Cmon you blues.
