I would find it impossible to simply "chill out" on derby day. I hate the day; the thought of losing to that bunch of C U Next Tuesdays is sickening. Even when we used to be good, I dreaded the day, and just wanted the game to be over ASAP. PTSD from the 90s? Possibly. Memories of Andrei Kanchekskis and Simon Tracey still haunt me. And blowing 2-0 and 3-1 leads at Maine Road. Once seen, they can never be "un-seen".

Hope we win as always but my concern today is that Utd coached by Amorim will try and have a strong defensive set up for the first half, and then bring on Rashford and Garnacho in the second half to try and exploit our tiredness/weak defence/general frustration.
I feel it is essential therefore that we try and establish at least a two goal lead if possible before half time. Here’s hoping!
