United (massive mini) Parade

At half eight this morning there were more stewards than fans lining the street. It was pissing down with rain and a lonely bloke behind the cathedral tried to sell me a big rag flag.

Why the fuck are they bothering to deny it? They're only making it funnier.
Give it two weeks and they'll have convinced themselves they actually beat Barcelona.

What we need is someone to do a little photo montage with all the photos with empty spaces.

The caption should be "So 150,000 turned out. Well they're not here..." showing the one by Chethams where there's no on on the left hand side. "and they're not here..." showing the one looking back down Deansgate where it's deserted apart from the group round the bus.

"And they're not here..." showing the one on the bridge. "and they're certainly not here..." showing the aerial one at Trafford Town Hall.

Anyone fancy going down there tomorrow and taking a few photo's and posting them as today?

Why resort to that? There's enough evidence with the scores of pics from today that prove there were less there than at Bury's promotion party ffs! Fuck me, the Rags themselves have planted the evidence for us with that 9 minute YouTube vid showing them approaching from the arse end of Deansgate to the M602/Mancunian Way roundabout.

150,000....100,000.....50,000? My arse. I said earlier that I was struggling to get the figures up to 20,000 all told and I've seen nothing to prove otherwise!

They were "far the better team for 10 minutes" apparantly, such a shame football lasts 90 then.

This "parade" was hillariously embarrasing, there were more people watching England at a test match in Wales.

Be great if someone could knock up a banner and unfurl it from a high building just as they are crossing the boundry that says:

"You are now leaving Manchester.....hope you enjoyed your visit!"

or

".......Come and see us again soon"

or

"......Have a safe journey home"

Said Andrew from Cheadle.

*irony not pictured*

A lot fucking closer than London my friend.

Ever been to Picadilly on the day United are at home?

Fucking swarming with plastics.

Which Piccadilly?

The circus?

Last week some rag produced the picture of them on Deansgate in 99 and us last week on Princess Street and said ''compare the difference''

Just wondering if someone could post that 99 Deansgate picture up alongside a picture of today on Deansgate, the one with absolutely no one behind it!

Inspired by the massive throng of brave soldiers on Deansgate. My contribution;

They've took the shout of 'We're not really here' to another dimension!!!
