I'm from Burnage M19. Went to St Caths and Barlow High.

What about you? SK8???

Yeh my name is Andrew, went to St Gay Boys, Cheadle, SK8, I'm scared of people from Burnage, please don't punch me in the face. Why have you got 450 posts since January on a City forum? Another one of the Nosey Neighbours, yeh? I'm sure you're a dyed in the wool red, eat sleep breathe it, but can never manage to get a ticket because it's "Always sold out"?

So you're not from Manchester, then. I find it pretty odd that you poke fun and point the finger at people travelling to games from outside Manchester, when you are one of them.

I'm taking the piss out of you mate, I'm not from Cheadle but I'm not about to start putting where I live up on the internet! I do live in Manchester and I walk to City games from where I live so no, I don't travel from outside of the city.

I've got no problem with United fans travelling up from London, from Ireland, Gloucester, Salford, wherever to go to watch them. What I've got a problem with is when United fans say that's bull shit and all the people in the stadium are from Manchester.

You recognise a huge proportion of your fans travel hundreds of miles to watch you at home, so we agree.

30% of matchday attendees travel more than 30 minutes to attend games at Old Trafford. 70% within half an hour of the stadium. The largest portion of season ticket holders have a Sale post code M33.

The highest number of season ticket holders at City have an SK8 post code.
The second highest have a Sale post code M33.

This says more about wealth and affluence than anything, but I find it odd to dwell on something that most of you do yourselves.

No. It is possible that 70% of season tickets are registered within 30 minutes of Old Trafford (although I am not sure if that is accurate), but the figure for people who actually attend the game will be nowhere near that.

For example, I personally know one guy who has over 500 season tickets for United who lives within half an hour of the stadium and he sells those tickets for every game. 90% of his customers are from Ireland. He is not the only guy that does this, far from it, there are dozens of United touts that do this.

You say you are from Burnage, how many people from Burnage, Longsight, Levenshulme and Fallowfield do you know who say they are United fans compared to City? I'll go out on a limb and say you've got slightly more mates who say they are United.

Now, how many mates have you got from those areas who have season tickets and regularly go to away games? City will outnumber United without any doubt! 90% of the United "fans" I know who live in Manchester never seem to be able to get get tickets to the game. Maybe they're all unlucky?!

So your mate forks out 400k every season for 500 season tickets? Also, entrance to the stadium is with a season ticket swipe card. So does he have to wait outside the stadium for every home game to get the season cards back?

Sounds like bull to me.

For the record, the men in this article are not the guy I know, but as I said, there are dozens of touts doing this at United.

Maybe all the touts with "Hundreds of season tickets" sell them at knockdown prices to good honest Reds from Burnage who can't afford the face value?

Re: United Parade

First they got bitter.

Now they're boasting about their massive parade with their massive amount of trophies, one of which they've won a massive amount of times and telling us that the cup we won doesn't really matter as they've won that a massive amount of times too.

No no no no.

We're the bitter ones. They keep telling us so.

By the time I got back to my local after getting back from Wembley there was no United fans left in the pub, loads of City. Even though they'd just won the league, they all went in pissed off that City had won the cup.

I don't know why they are so arsed, but I genuinely believe they would prefer never to win another trophy if it meant we didn't win any. The New Bitters, Nosey Neighbours.
