Tens of thousands of Manchester United fans gathered to cheer their team on an open-top bus tour to parade the Premier League trophy.
On Monday, up to 100,000 Manchester City fans celebrated their team's first trophy in 35 years with an FA Cup victory parade from Albert Square to the City of Manchester stadium.
YCNMIU :)
One of my friends told me her daughter (she's 5) loved the rain! She always wants to jump in puddles and play outside in the rain, so the weather was right up her street. And the great love of her short life - Evra! - waved to her, so her day couldn't be better.
It made me so happy seeing the parade and all of you who braved the weather were wonderful. Let the Berties imagine their parade was massive -- what else can you expect? We showed great defiance and joy! The fog of depression from Saturday really lifted watching the parade.
My heart was with all of you in Manchester today!
Clearly the Beeb just have ;)samharris said:BTH said:Tens of thousands for the rags... Up to 100,000 for us, according to the Beeb:

So they're admitting that even the fucking rain was more entertaining than their pitiful, shambolic embarrassment of a parade? Oh my giddy aunt, please stop!mcfcliam said:One of my friends told me her daughter (she's 5) loved the rain! Rubbish, those saying that either saw it at 9am when no-one was there or when the bus was in between Deansgate and Old Trafford when it was only people running alongside the bus. Was packed for most of the route. Considerably more than city's parade, and quite convincingly too.
