Do they really have no dignity whatsoever?

Lying bastards.

Oh you thick, thick rag bastards. We don't have a 91 page thread here because you turned up. Dear oh dear. This is every bit as counter productive as the new ticker banner at the Swamp. The ticker on the poster that will never move again.

We are laughing at you. The Dippers at Rawk are laughing at you. What possible reason can you have for not knowing this?

That's at the top of Portland street near piccadilly which is where I saw the parade. When the bus came past it was packed. They really are delusional and will do anything to propogate a myth.

It rained on Manchester United's bank holiday parade – literally. After Saturday's humbling at the hands of Barcelona, the Mancunian weather seemed rather fitting. But the team had won a 19th domestic title this season, so the show went on.

And thousands of fans still came to the city centre in a display of loyalty following the breaking of that most cherished of records.

"Are you watching, Merseyside?" was the favourite chant as the team and their veteran manager Sir Alex Ferguson waved amid umbrellas from an open-top bus with the number 19. United's league victory had snatched the record from fierce rivals Liverpool.

Players took turns to hold up the Premier League trophy as the bus left Manchester cathedral to the strains of the Queen song We Are the Champions. The spectre at the feast was the dashed wish that the Champions League trophy might have been there as well. Among most of the fans through, there was recognition that Barcelona had shown effortless superiority at Wembley on Saturday night.

Still, Rio Ferdinand led an impromptu karaoke performance from the bus, with other players and Sir Alex working their way through football songs. Crowds were estimated at 100,000, only slightly down on previous totals of an event which has almost become an annual fixture, so relentless has been United's success. This year has been unusual only in hosting a second and rival celebration in Manchester, when 100,000 City fans turned out last week to celebrate winning the FA Cup, the team's first major trophy for 35 years.

Guardian Group => MUEN why anyone buy's this "Manchester" paper or evening clicks on the MUEN website is beyond me!

its just typical rag behaviour they are master components of if we say something loudly enough and long enough people will believe it. Like we arent in debt really the glazers are going to sell up to a billionaire, scholes just doesnt know how to tackle, rio really did "forget" his drug test, the refs really are against them etc etc

Awesome turn out. 10 am, heavy rain, lost A CL finale two days earlier? My god, if you ever needed proof that Manchester is red...
