United Post Match Thread

We have won 2'of our last 8 games and that was Villa and Sunderland when we actually deserved to lose. We have not scored in 3 of our last 4.

Since our first 5 games we have taken 36 points from 25 games! That is 1.44 points per game compared with over 2 points per game in the previous 4 seasons.

Against the rest of the top 9 teams we have this record

Played 13....won 1.... Drawn 3 and lost 8

That is a fucking shambles

Pellegrini has taken us so far backwards it's unreal.

It's unbelievable how he still has a job.just incredible.

We were just downright poor, for the umpteenth time this season.
Sergio is trying to do too much, and coming in so deep, he's practically playing midfield half the time.
Yaya is trotting around slowly as high paced and pressing teams overrun us in midfield.
We're desperately missing some key players, but at the same time, our work rate and desire leave a lot to be desired.
We've come unstuck against every single team that's pressed us hard and that's everybody in the top 7.

United worked harder than us. They got the points. Our 'flair' created some chances, but we can have no complaints.

I'm still not entirely clear on why we got rid of Mancini? I heard he was a right hard ass, but isn't it good to have that kind of discipline? What we're seeing now is a team that knows they don't have to listen to the manager. I still remember the super rigid defense that Mancini had in place. Would we be a worse team? I bet that if he was still in place we'd have won more titles, cups and this would not be our first quarter final appearance in the Champions League. It's great we're getting Pep and all, but I would love to see a 2nd Mancini stint just to have that crazy defense back in place. My two cents for what it's worth.

Unfortunately Bobby wouldn't work with his bosses and ultimately they have the final say.

The manager's consistent blind faith in some players has cost us a title, possibly a CL place, and now a pride derby. Let's face it, could Tosin do any worse than MD? Could one of the Garcia boys do any worse than Sterling? Could that fella with one eye and one leg do any worse than Bony?

Quite simply I can't wait for the season to end what the fuck is going on, it's painful? Sat there this afternoon with my 9 year old daughter and even she can see faults ie Demichellis is too slow, Bony is rubbish and why won't we shoot! Pellers is leaving us in a worst position then when we took over. We haven't performed when it mattered take your pick from today, Spurs, West Ham and the dippers etc. Pep has a massive challenge on his hands.

Just two points and then I'm off!

One - why were the Laws of the Game suspended when Smalling took Sergio out. That was a yellow card anywhere, anytime unless you already had a yellow card chalked against your name. Yet again, Oliver lives up to his name 'The Bottler'!

Two - I have seen many a derby where we have been outclassed and under the cosh, but I would love those City players who were in that position in the past to have had the opportunity to have played that MANUre team today. They would have crushed them. The shittiest MANUre bunch of Rags to have gone away with three points.
Yes; it was a poor decision, to put it mildly. However, we can't really complain. How that penalty for the "tackle" by DeMichelis on Rashford wasn't given still amazes me. Certainly comparable with the Stones tackle on Sterling. Oliver had a shocker out there today. I'd love to see the assessor's report on him.

Anyone notice the deadly silence when Bony came on, it spoke a thousand words.
