United Post Match Thread

Have to sack him. We are going worse and worse every game. Yes we won a trophy this year but we have gone backwards under him. Shit manager.

Pellegrini just walked out of the post-match interview after being asked about what had changed to lead to our poor home form this season.

MP should be asked to leave, his record from Jan to April last season and from October to now is frankly appalling. He can take MDM, Bony, Navas, and a few more with him. Once again Silva does his big match vanishing act, when you really need one of those through passes where is he? Decision to buy Bony last season and to keep MDM ahead of Denayer shows MP has lost it.
Lots of huff and puff from City but once again, no end product. There's a frightening lack of creativity in midfield, Toure worked his arse off and frankly, I'd keep him ahead of Silva right now.
MDM's performance was almost legendary, it's amazing how someone can put in such an abysmal performance in under an hour, you have to hand it to him. I've been slagging him off for more than a year as it was clear he was 12 months past it 12 months ago.

the worst part about it is that it was all so predictable...they have one danger on the pitch and that is the pace of their forwards when running at players....so what does our manager do....opens up the midfield to allow them to do that.

Not only that he isolates Aguero, keeps playing navas when he offers no goals threat whatsoever and then keeps a kid not he bench to play the completely ineffectual Bony.......

we were told before he became manager that he was:

1. Tactically astute and flexible - he is neither. He is completely predictable and only changes when he has to (numerous examples of this over the last two seasons)
2. Defensively nieve - since his very first game numerous people have been commenting on the huge space that is infant of our back 4 saying that good teams will take advantage of that......well everyone is taking advantage of it
3. Good in the transfer market - His insistence on buying a couple of players he knows - MDM being the biggest mistake of all, navas being another are huge wastes of a squad place
4. That he would give youth a chance. Im sorry ( and this is going to hurt).....the manager who has been laughed at by all acrosss the country has not only just tactically outdone MP (though again it was obvious what he would do) has also given youth a chance (though maybe slightly forced to by injury but he has stuck with them) -MP has stunted the growth of Kelechi for starters and a number of others.......he could have taken a risk today and played one of the young centre halves (Maybe he would have been criticised for it but I certainly wouldn't have - though there were other options even before that)

5. A good man manager -though i have no evidence of it at all, Im convinced by the body language of Kompany and a few others that they strongly don't like the way he sets the team up etc and they don't want to play for him (some might argue that this is as they all know Pep is coming but it was there way before his announcement)

The biggest damning fact of it all is that the average person in the stands could do what he has done today

I cant wait for him to be gone and his reign for me has been a failure on the large (People won't like this but imho we got lucky with the league win with him and in this years capital cup was a lottery of a penalty shoot out)

Anyone surprised when they saw the team selection? He's a prick not got a clue and one more season with him we'd be relegated. He got lucky with Sterling's injury and at least he'd did the right sub and pushed Yaya forward But the decision to play MDM from the start was negligent he's only at City because he's the managers mate
