I'll put my money on Moyes tbh, perfect for each other.

Moyes for me as well. It's f***ing nailed one. Out of the Fergie mould, with no baggage like the Special One.

I think the other factor that is in Moyes' favour is his capacity to tow the party line, as he has demonstrably done at Everton. It is quite possible that he has felt hampered at times by Everton's lack of funds, but in spite of his naturally recalcitrant disposition, he has never complained about it in public.

Clearly this is a quality that will appeal greatly to the Glazers.

Lets say that Fergie "moves upstairs" at the end of the season, win or lose this season.

The new manager comes in and brings in his own players, tactics, ethics, etc.

Now if the team start to lose their way, what happens then? Do they suddenly bring Fergie back in an advisory role? How peed off would you be if he was breathing down your neck every time you didn't win a game, or a player steps out of line?

He could seriously undermine everything and could make future managers, regardless of who they are, think twice about going there.
This I have been saying this for a while now no one in their right mind would put up with this

Taggart took the rag job with a rather famous and universal respected manager in the same role. I think some would crumble under that presure, and some like taggart would use them when things get tough

I like to remind everyone of my social superiority as often as I can muster.

I do like that "recalcitrant" word - what the fuck does it mean?
