Both Liverpool last night and United tonight got 7 articles on Daily Mail after their games.

We beat Everton in extremely important and very symbolic game (with them being Liverpool arch rivals) and we got a single article on Saturday.

Martin Samuel keeps that paper going sports desk wise, they must be paying hima fucking fortune to stay at that little englander blog.

I respect Samuel's views on FFP, UEFA, big teams cartel and his bravery to talk what Rags don't want to hear at times but when you mentioned it, that Little Englander thingy might be one of the reasons he is there as he is first in the line to wank about that there.

I can recall him wanking all over himself when Rags appointed Moyes saying they proved that Brittish manager can manage a big English club and it's not all about favorable imports, yadda, yadda.. he is sucking Rooney, Terry and all other English internationals regularly.

Gotta agree with this. Samuel has some interesting things to write about FFP, UEFA, etc. He's also been very sympathetic to City going back to the first year or so of the take over. He is also though far too impressed with his own voice so to speak and is constantly banging the British drum which is unbelievably tedious.

His column today about United's new manager is actually a snide attack on City, Soriano, and Pellegrini (something which has become all too common in the last 12 months). He takes Soriano's comments about Van Gaal and uses them as a stick to beat us with. His summation summing up why it's a poor piece of writing/logic
