Yes United beat Arsenal today, but Arsenal were by far the better team. Once again United didn't score from open play and won the game from a set piece. How much longer can that go on for?

Judging by the last 3 seasons, it can go on for 38 games.

Utd were superb today.

Grafted their fucking arses off. Showed enormous desire to win and defended like men possessed.

They strangled and stifled arsenal and isolated fuck out of Giroud.

Give them the credit they're due.

If we'd have played with 50% of that desire today we'd be 3 points off the top now .

I think we can play even better , We got pod, walcott, ox and mertersacker all to come back and we be even better. United should be happy with point total seeing how average you been. Doubt your last the pace in the title race with such a average team but your get top four and will be far stronger next season once your board spends money.

So fair play for today. You still got a lot of mental strentgh.

United deserved it today, no doubt. They are still not a great team, but then no one else is looking that special right now. If there is one game they will win every season its arsenal at home, we seem to freeze everytime we go up there.

You do have to admire that they give 100% despite their limitations, thats something manchester city dont seem to do away from home. On effort alone united could stay in the hunt.
