But you are still short in the striker department. Giroud has been fantastic for you this season, but after him it is Bentner, Walcott or Poldolski. At best Laughable, at worst, less than convincing when played as a striker.

We scored 22 goals and giroud not always scored so we doing well on that front. we got ramsey scoring loads and got pod, ox and walcott all can score goals. walcott and pod between the two of them last season scored 22 goals. Bentner shit but when we get everyone fit then he won,t be anywhere near the bench

Yes but you still need to have somebody play upfront, Chelsea score the bulk of their goals from midfield but they wouldn't be able to get away with playing Hazard or Mata upfront. I can remember when Arse Shaving played upfront against Everton did n't exactly go well for you guys.

Ramsey is in a vein of form which will soon run out, your wide strikers are injury prone so expect niggles all season. My point being that a squad with one striker can hardly rank amongst the best in the league.

With due respect pod, theo can all play up front and score goals. Also your saying we can,t cope without giroud. But when he was missing for three games last season we scored over six goals in three games. We can add a striker in january . I think we never have better chance to win the league with all our rivals going through issues this season with one thing or another.

Some wishful thinking on my part perhaps :) But a point worth mentioning is that you can never write off the rags, they don't care a jot about the domestic cups unless it is against us or part of a double/treble. They will put some effort in to Europe but not as much as Benitez or RDM with their ECL winning teams, because Moyes simply does n't have it in him to make a mark on Europe with an ordinary squad like this. The United factor however is most effective in the league and those horrible bastards will throw everything they have into their attempts to get an undignified celebration party in May.

It would be interesting to see you sign a striker in January, any particular name that you would prefer?

To be honest i am still not worried about united. if fergie was in charge then maybe but moyes not the same aura and although he won today , he dropped points against teams like west brom and southampton which fergie would never have allowed. Their defence is far weaker then previous years and if we had bit more cutting edge of the bench with theo, pod and ox free then we would have scored.

I think he will give the domestic cups a good go. best chance of winning a trophly, his interview after today game suggest he see united as long term project and was not that confident sounding about title race,

I still can,t see them lasting the pace in title race. you and chelsea have far stronger squads

I think we the favourites but we be even stronger with a striker in jan. Like the fan said on arsenal fan tv after game tonight, its our best chance we ever have to win a league with all our rivals having new managers.

I'm not saying it's going to cheer anyone up ATM, but I had a little smile to myself.

United fans gallery in today's MEN.

Half and half scarves going down a storm at Trafford.

When I go to Old Trafford or when I see pictures of match day there, I can't help but think they're not proper football fans, they just look like tourists/ day trippers to me.

Seriously though.

You come all the way from..........(pick a European country) and end up buying a half and half scarf, and a Marouane Fellaini wing, along with a Manchester United flag, and the obligatory Manchester United Megastore souvenir and plastic bag.

Please
