United thread 2013/14

Looks like the love-in between United and Everton fans is well and truly over: <a class="postlink" href="http://www.redcafe.net/threads/everton-fans.380224/" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;">http://www.redcafe.net/threads/everton-fans.380224/</a>

What's so astonishing about that thread is how the vast majority (there are a couple of honourable exceptions to be fair) completely fail to see why Moyes pissed off the Everton fans so much in the summer with his utterly twattish and hypocritical comments regarding the poxy joint bid for Fellaini and Baines and how Everton should do the decent thing and allow them to leave. Not to mention the patronising shite he came out with regarding Martinez. In short, he insulted Everton (and by extension, their fans) in the most despicable way possible. And that's coming from someone who doesn't particularly like Everton that much.

I'm sure if Moyes hadn't stank the place out so much when leaving Goodison, and had encouraged United to put in a decent offer for Fellaini and Baines rather than that utterly insulting £28 million bid, then I'm sure the Everton fans would've given him a fantastic reception last night.

Either way, the behaviour of Moyes towards Everton in the summer just cemented the opinion of us blues that he's a complete c***.

Is it the barcodes next at OT? I can see that being another defeat for United in the 12:45, giving us the momentum to go and beat Southampton, pretty much putting them out of the picture. Off the top of my head looking at the table last night, if that happened and Villa won, united would drop to tenth. lol.

New castle are no mugs now. Pardew will go right at them. martinez showed how u beat the scum press press press and attack from out to in. No carrick, no pussy, no shagger. Those 3 are the only reasons they are even in 9th Good night sweet prince. 2-0 to the jordies <3

Really?

Didn't the higher-placed team win? Why should that be an upset?

<3..... i know Richard keys said it was an upset then Andy grey put him in his place saying no. Not at all everton are on better form , and the league place does not lie. Seriously jazera have the best pre and post match show.. Mike pheelan was the guest and even said its going to be a tough ask to make top 4.

Anyone who reckons they won't make the top 4
You can get abt 5/6,not far off double your money

And 1000/1 to be relegated :)
Without being too brass about it, I would say it's nailed on that us, Arsenal and Chelsea will be in that top 4, leaving one place. Who fights for that? Spurs, Liverpool, possibly Everton? The way it's going now I can't see United making 4th at all as those 3 sides are better and if Suarez stays at Liverpool I can only see them getting that last spot.
What would be really funny is if United were to finish 10th or lower, a proper mid-table finish, and it's not beyond possibility either.

Moyes still appears to be getting a relatively benign ride off the press. If City were in 9th in December it would be an entirely different story, that's an absolute fact.

Good.
The longer he stays, the more damage he does

I'm certain Shrek is suspended until the 15th, which means he also misses the Aston Villa game

The circle jerk would be of killergram proportions.
