The answer is yes, if you're talking about the league. If they were twelve points behind Arsenal and in second, then maybe, but to expect Arsenal, City and Chelsea to all capitulate is asking way too much.
Perhaps the title is beyond them, but we are 6 points above them. They could beat Newcastle, and we could lose to Southampton and we still have to go there.
Marvin, we have a 6 point cushion (7 with goal diff which they won't make up) and we will improve our away form for the remainder of the season.

Silva, Kompany and Jovetic have hardly played and who knows whether we may get an opportunity to bring a top player in during January?

Very confident that we'll extend the gap by the end of the season.
I'm confident too, but there are some people who think the Evil Empire has already crumbled and that the writing is on the wall. There's still the January transfer window to take into account, and the potential return of RVP. Last season they were poor for long stretches but time after time, RVP would do something special and rescue them.

Until City totally get over this away game hoo doo (avoiding defeat at Southampton will help convince me) then I am not going to get over-confident. It's been a funny old season. We beat CSKA Moscow 5-2, Norwich 7-0 and then go to Sunderland and can't score. So let's see City vanquish the away demons, and when that's done, we can say with confidence that we are on the march again.

With all the hype surrounding Everton's victory at the swamp the media seem to be forgetting that we turned Everton over at our place
Surely the hype about the Utd - Everton game is not hype about Everton winning, but hype about Utd losing at home and their 12 point gap on the leaders i.e. it's all about Utd in crisis.

Marvin, good poster though he is, does sometimes descend into the pessimistic it has to be said.
