A couple of things:

1. They're sounding like us (Liverpool)

"we hit the posts"...."we'll get X points vs Palace, Norwich, Fulham anyway and we'll be in first place by Xxxx, xxxx"...."City/Arsenal/etc, will drop points".....

They're saying EXACTLY the kind of stuff they used to laugh at us about not to recently.

2. Also there is this assumption that they'll simply spend big in January and that that will be that. But who will they "spend big" on and with what money? Herrera? At over 30M that would have been an even bigger panic buy than Fellaini. It's odd that even having had time to think it over they want to spend that much money on Herrera.

3. What's the latest on the best young player by far in the world--Januzaj?

They can all fuck off is what I always say.

Van Persie starts v Newcastle, Interesting..

Telling the press Van Persie's still injured then starting him?

Switching from a cautious line-up at home to an incredibly attacking one at home in the space of 4 days?

Bringing Zaha back out of the blue?

I am 100% certain Ferguson has picked this team. Clearly, after the Everton game Moyes went to him, and he told Moyes exactly what to do next.

Let's not kid ourselves - it's not good that Ferguson is still pulling the strings behind the scenes.

But long term, it can't be good for Moyes' level of respect amongst the players (e.g. Ferdinand) that when the shit hits the fan, they know Ferguson actually makes the decisions.

Cleverley and Jones in CM. Jesus, that's nearly on a par with Yaya and Fernandinho! Can't see why they are struggling to be honest.
