Anyone know if the league can give punishment to Rooney?

He should be banned for 3 games.

I seem to remember a Monday morning 'trial by media' followed by a retrospective red/3 match ban happening to a player not too long ago. Can't remember for the life of me who that was, but I'm sure someone can help....................

Whats wrong with Man utd, they cant even cheat their way to wins anymore, even with the ref on their side .

This is quite funny. I think Tyler is quite brilliant for the big moments, I wouldn't really accuse him of being biased against them.

Ragcafe about Agüero

It annoys me he doesn't seem to have any ambitions to play for a big side - he's easily good enough.

Followed by

he's a great a player that's not yet played for a great club (no disrespect intended to Atletico).

LOL
do these thick twats still think we`re in the 3rd division??
pissing my pants with laughter at the denial running through their bitter little veins...
should we let them know that we won the premiership or should we keep it a secret??
poor little things...

Someone translate this.

Wayne Rooney ‏@WayneRooney20m
Just watched game back. I agree mine was bad tackle and ref dealt with it. And Martin Tyler didn't shut up about it all game.

Wayne Rooney ‏@WayneRooney19m
Then someone slaps someone in face and he doesn't speak a word about it. I like Martin but that's poor from him

Wayne Rooney ‏@WayneRooney10m
Sourness the rules are u kick out u should be off. Souness medel gives left hook he's done his job. Haha brilliant

Wayne Rooney ‏@WayneRooney1m
Sourness was sarcastic for everyone biting

Due to the recent rule changes, Wayne Rooney WILL serve a 3 match ban for violent conduct.

You heard it here first.

I wouldn't be surprised if a rule change brought in after a stamp on a United player isn't applied to a United player.

-- Mon Nov 25, 2013 12:39 am --

I doubt we will see it used. "confusion of the new rule" or something making this case slide by.

both Mackay and Turner have bizarrely come out and said they're glad he didn't get sent off. England's fucking bumboy escaping yet another sending off and ban. Utter joke!

Id guess they have played down Shreks incident in an effort to dilute Medals slap.

Both reds.
