I took the lad training last night,3 of the dads are rags, never go as far as i know, when sunderland beat us they couldn't stop talking about it,getting their sly digs in,even telling me who scored....
Fast forward to last night, not a peep out of them, the conversation aas about anything but utd until i said not a bad result for us against spurs to which i got this classic reply..
"I've not really watched the football this weekend,i've recorded the utd match but not seen the ending...."
So i said i won't spoil the ending but you didn't win and started to giggle with a couple of the city dads,at that point the rag dads suddenly found their footballing voices and it was moyes shit this, moyes shit that....
A couple of weeks before when they beat arsenal these clowns were coming out with "moyes is the one..".."i knew he'd turn it around.."..."where are city in the league...."
The fuckin fickle softarses, they're all running around like headless chickens, this getting beat and not winning isn't what these spoilt rags are used to,they can't do defeat but sure can do denial....
I seen one comment in a paper from a utd fan which read.."we are everton in utd shirts.."

your thoughts on Kagawa? is he better than silva/nasri or not?

Yes, but he's a Grand Master at it!

Just looking at the "story" about their plane having to "abort" the landing. It reports that the plane was 400 metres "above the runway". Presumably that means they were at around 1300 feet, which indicates that the plane was about 4 miles out on final approach. At that height, the pilot will have been advised by the tower to go round again.
No problems, no danger, no story. But it's the rags.

Am wondering myself how much will be made of this for PR purposes. Once had a proper aborted landing - were almost at the point of touching down then pressed right back into our seats from what felt like all the afterburners coming on at once.

Pilot explained same thing - something not supposed to be there was in the way, but end of the day it was no real sweat - everything that was supposed to happen in that scenario did, just like when you have to slam on the anchors when some bright spark cuts you up in a car.

There have unfortunately been plenty of tragedies in the past to mourn of each type, life's too short to dwell on something that didn't actually happen.

From what I can tell there is no story here. In fact the most shocking part of the entire piece is the fact that the greatest football club in the world (tm) flies with Monarch.

I wish I would have recorded my friend's reaction when I said Cardiff was going to equalize right at the end and then it happen. He fell to the ground head and hands and was speechless. This was after 90 minutes of him tellin me how shit we are and how United were going to win the title.
