I think the producers of the awful tv show Splash should invite Young onto the show just for a laugh

just been in the cafe , they are saying that a large investor in the USA has bet $5m on
the glazers shares falling in the next few months,
i didnt know george soros one of the worlds shrewdest investors had a decent lump of their shares , if he gets nervous i imagine the shares would take a serious slide !!

From the Cafe regarding Rooney...

I have felt certain for some time that he won't sign despite his season so far, actually his form and the teams form in general is the thing that will make him want out. He's gone for me in the summer and I am fucking too depressed to think about it tbh! It's one low after another atm and I am even pissed off that Young is injured, even if he's mostly dogshite!! We probaly can't sell him this month now.Bebe will probably appear in the squad before long at this rate!

I'm loving this at the moment, loving it.

A win today and the quadruple will be back on for wee daveys boys pmsl.

Theyre playing tomorrow -Tell yer what Swansea at 6-1 must be worth a punt!
I hope Swansea are up for it, but they have major players out until Feb and have the EL knockouts coming up. Laudrup's talking about making changes for the FA Cup game at OT as the PL is their priority and they're only 4 points ahead of 18th place. They may both play weakened sides, through necessity and/or design. Would love to see Swansea win this and their PL match there though!

In fairness it's never really been off. Wee Davey has got it all under control and is doing a fantastic job. It's the referees that are letting them down. Long live the football genius.

So the groin story is true

Manchester United will be without strikers Wayne Rooney and Robin van Persie for Sunday's FA Cup third-round tie with Swansea.
Rooney (groin) and Van Persie (thigh) are both injured, as is winger Ashley Young (shoulder).

Made me laugh on Talksport this morning....

"Robin Van Persie was back in training this week, he trained with PSV as part of his recovery programme"

Speaks volumes about the Ushited training regime, about VP's attitude to the club and more importantly Moyes's control and discipline.

Oh happy days! Loving every nanosecond of it!

They'll beat Swansea in the cup. Laudrup will rest a few and Utd will be desperate to paper over the cracks with a cup run.
I wouldn't be surprised if Swansea took a point home from the league game, though. Football is funny like that.

I was wondering whether you guys were reading Red Cafe much lately and I see that you are. I haven't taken too much interest in that usually, but since the appointment of the chosen one, it's just too good to miss. I can usually not manage to read more than two or three posts without pissing myself. It's utterly utterly utterly marvellous.

It's over guys. The days of title challenges, cl finals and big money signings are gone. We are now midtable. Like Fergie said every team has a cycle. We are done. *cries all huddled up in a corner*
