Secondly because Taggart's got an unblemished record of picking the right temperaments in young players.

If the transfer spend/limit rumours that were circulating in the summer were true then they don't have anything left to play with this season and ATM the risk isn't high enough to warrant dipping into emergency funds for other (much needed) resources.

Whatever legacy GPC left , it is quite possible he will be finally remembered for his major contribution in what is becoming their ultimate demise, ie running the club into the ground for the past couple of years in a blind and unsuccessful attempt to go toe-to-toe with us.
