I don't think that is a bad assessment of the game to be fair.

I question Rooney's position at the moment. He is playing so deep as to be having no impact in the attacking areas, where he would be much more dangerous. They need someone else playing deep, and Rooney further forward.

Also, there were three aspects to his game yesterday. He picked up the ball and nearly always hit it to Valencia or Januzai on the right wing. Then he would take all the corners! Now I am in my fifties, and I can whip in a corner quite accurately to the tallest attacker, so surely there must be someone else on their team that can take an accurate corner, whilst Rooney should be making a nuisance of himself in the box. The third aspect of his game is the constant moaning at referees. Can you imagine Balotelli getting away with the dissent Rooney showed yesterday? It just wouldn't happen.

So who are folk cheering on when the rags play the chavs in a couple of weeks
I guess this situation doesn't pop up to often where it's beneficial to us if the fuckers win

Anyway come on moysie :)
I'll be cheering for them both to drop 2 points personally. I hope they both bore (and kick) the crap out of each other, a couple of injuries and suspensions each would make it a good day all round (so long as we win obviously).

This post was on Rag Cafe:

"Give Moyes time".

And the reply:

"Buy him a retirement watch".

Also interesting was the number saying that they would have to do a City and spend their way out of trouble.

The way Malc is whoring out the club to anyone who will sponsor them suggests to me that he will sell sooner rather than later. He is trying to make as much as possible before running away and its too late.

There is no way he will want to spend £100-£150m+ to revamp this current team/squad.

i doubt £150m will go anywhere near to stopping the boat leaking!

Just one serious point amongst all the jokes. As a kid I was told the story about the boy who cried wolf, well perhaps the refs are effing sick of the rags diving all the time.
Jizzjaz was fouled but as it was the 15th time he had gone down in the match Webb booked him because in his own mind it was yet another dive.
Yes it was a penalty by Lloris but after 10 other dives in the box Webb took the cynical view, i.e. 'I am not going to be conned by this lot'

If you lie and cheat (and dive) eventually no one will believe you when you are genuinely fouled.

P.S. I am still laughing my socks off.

Serious question this, he brought an average team through the last 5 seasons doing remarkably well, I just don t get it. Moyes takes over and I realize he is poor but he is severley lacking in all areas. His credentials look more foolish when you look at everton under martinez! And his achievements this season so far, with largely the same group of players.
for gods sake moyes is steering last years champions!

It cant be down to hairdryers etc, surely he really was a great tactician

This year at ot teams sense weakness and go for the kill, I d love to see home record stats at ot, this year as opposed to other years

Really enjoying their pain and slide towards mediocrity?

How did the pissed up one achieve so much ?

Bacon face was the manager fair enough but he had everyone else there to help him achieve,it was not solely down to him.His main job was bully in chief either with the playing staff or officials or media or journalists.

He was a very good bully, unlike Moyes who has neither the standing in football or the balls for the job.

It was assumed that because he's a Scotsman he's "hardcore ,cut from the same tartan cloth".

Hahaha how wrong they were and we all knew it despite the whitewash propaganda spewing out of the swamp.

Plus bacon face was bully in chief with his other management team members.

Phelan, mulensteen,Gill. .....etc etc they deserted the sinking ship.

Now they have turned into Everton. In other words a second class team (not under Martinez ha). With the likes of Phil Neville,Moyes etc.
The playing staff including van persie recognise this .the leadership team isn't strong enough, but Moyes will be the patsy for underachievement whilst uncle Malcolm keeps all the cash and stays distant from any failings.

They all know that large sums of money need to be spent on playing staff, just to keep apace with other teams .

They neither have the money to spend or the inclination to spend it and even if they had it would they allow Moyes to spend it?

NO I don't think so.

It's a big fatt mess and I'm loving every bleating ,hand wringing moment of it.

It's all come home to roost and their worst ever imaginable nightmare is actually happening, which is likkle City becoming dominant whilst they fade to mid table mediocrity.

He's now the fourth highest player to be booked for diving in a single premier league season, all at the young age of 18. His parents must be so proud. You can guess one of the players ahead of him in that table too.
