Like another poster wrote, its time(if you're a betting man/women) to put your mortage on them winning.

You must be joking.
4/7 for a team that has lost three on the bounce, and are without their two top goalscorers?
They may well scrape a win, but I'm a gambling man and at that price I wouldn't touch them with a shitty stick.

I didn't realise the price!
But the point is, I think they'll win. Saying that, they didn't play that well V Swansea last week when they had 11 men and Swansea have had a bit of extra rest......what price are Swansea???

11/2 mate, and 3's the draw.
As I say, a rag win wouldn't be any great surprise, but there are much better bets around at longer odds - for example Cardiff at 11/10 to beat West Ham, which I reckon is easy money.

That matt lawton and ian ladyboy get right on my tits with their rag arse licking..
That article by lawton was pathetic, he might as well have just written "stop calling my beloved team, there isn't anything wrong, moyes is ok, the team are behind him, stop laughing at us all of you because we don't like it.."
A waste of time article yet again and yet again the press trying to put a positive spin on the mess at the moyesleum.
I want utd to win today so the clown moyes stays even longer but then again I want utd to get beat as I love the world when they lose...
Hmmm it's a tricky one....

I think it's time to make the point that I haven't ever had in my whole life a week in which I have enjoyed reading and hearing about United as much as the last 7 days.

Rooney out as well, does the streak push to 4?
No. If I was a betting man (which I'm not), I would put my mortgage on a penalty for them today, or a Swansea red card. Moyes' rants will bear fruit today.

For my entire school life the "followers" of these ***** took the piss, going to a greater Manchester primary school out in the sticks, I was the only City fan in a class of 30, 29 being rags.

My dad recalls, and still mentions it to this day, me approaching him as a very young nipper asking "dad why do we support City?"... he said " what do you mean?".... I said "well everybody else at school supports Utd". He goes on to say "what everyone???".... I said " yeah everyone but me".

This was the mid 90's and he was taken aback by the fact I was the only blue in a class of 30, yet being a 30 min drive from Manchester's centre. I remember going to school after County had beat us and getting the piss ripped out of me, I was Jimmy Grimble essentially. I got to secondary after this and there was a small group of us blues who stuck together, derby defeat after defeat, after defeat, after defeat, we still wore our City shirts under the school uniform the next day to reveal them at lunch time footy. We didn't give a shit, City were a cult and Utd were the establishment, the *****, the team every sheep supported. We were the rebels, the team that always lost and fucked things up.

The more Utd won, the more me and my pals backed City, it literally was a cult, a big fuck off to the ***** taking the easy ride. Don't get me wrong some of my best mates were Utd fans, they tried to sway me "just support Utd mate, come on, its easier" and I swear to god that was verbatim. I never gave in despite our shite. The difference was that I went to City at the very least, every home game. Those red ***** never went, they used to go mental because they got to watch it on tele, meanwhile I was being escorted every other weekend down to the Platt Lane by my dad. A man whose passion hasn't changed now, since the 1970's and throughout the shite.

Even now, whilst we're so much better than them, drilling everyone at home, being 10 points clear, expanding our stadium, building the biggest academy in the world. I cannot bring myself to take the piss, I never want to be like them, I've taken more flack than any follower of another club in English football but yet I cannot bring myself to stoop to their level, I think we're better than that. I feel uneasy seriously ripping anyone else, even them.

I remember being sat there in the second half of the 06/07 season having not scored at home for a succession of games, everyone was fucking fed up, it was the worst football City had played in decades and the stadium was growing quieter by the second because of the complete and utter disillusion, yet I remember sitting there thinking "I'd rather be like this than be like them ".
Good post, proving yourself to be the bigger man. However, for me, I just can't let them get away with it. Every opportunity I get, those fuckers will be getting it.

Being a blue in exile living down south having stayed loyal through the misery of being hammered by chelsea, Charlton et all and having the piss extracted relentlessly by thousands of southern based rags wandering around with rag shirts on, the utter joy at seeing so few shirts out is heaven. I never thought having been at the etihad on the wonderful day things could get better having snatched the prem away in the most dramatic way possible but seeing the filth implode is exquisite...hopefully it continues for years to come. Difficult to decide if I want Sunderland to beat them in semi and deny them a trip out for the southern rags or for us to kick the sh**out of email in final.

Totally agree mate. You can spend many a happy hour reading sad cafe. It's like the funniest novell you've ever read.

On a slightly different note, good to see RVP returning to the levels of fitness Arsenal enjoyed. It's long overdue and the only shame is that I waited and waited for this to happen last season, but by a once in a lifetime (well his lifetime anyway) miracle, he managed to spend nearly all of last season injury free. Had he been his usual self, doubtless we would be champions and now fighting for our 3rd successive title.

The schadenfreude is satisfying, I must admit.
Only relegation, a winding-up order from the receivers, or an al-Qaeda attack at half time when they play Chelsea could cap the current circus of woes.

It's pure joy. Let's hope for the next 7 to be the same.

For me it's the true fans from ireland and torquay and Birmingham and London who ring the phone ins, never go but always watch it on tv and start slagging everyone off from the tea lady to the ref and go on one. But to be fair we have had a few of Salfords finest ring up and generally ridicule moyes for just about everything. I'm still listening to stuff on catch up, absolutely priceless it is.

LOL, from the caf:

If you're plastic and you know it clap your hands...

To the tune of that "20 times" crap song;

Save our Dave
Save our Dave
Man united

Save our Dave
Save our Dave
I say

He is mad
He is crap
He is clueless

Keep him on
Til he's old and grey.

*I thank you, here all week*
