Yeah I gathered that I was just throwing out there if they did get rid.. No top manager will go there unless they are guaranteed 150m on top players in my opinion..The glazers are on there knees praying that Gollum will get the scum in top 4 because the loss of champs league it could go tits up pretty quickly..

Is Gus trying to make his job easier for the semi-final?

keep it up poyet #saveourdavey

FFS now Sunderland are wading in and hammering them in the game that is MIND GAMES. Fergie, eat you heart out Karma rules.
Absolutely this, all day, every day. All the luck they've had, all the dodgy decisions, all the cheating, Fergie time, referee intimidation, press manipulation, piss taking and general arrogance must all be paid for. It is the law of life. After every rise there has to be a fall, every life has to be followed by death. Greater empires than United have risen and fallen throughout history from the beginning of time. Let's hope United's time to fall away and die is now.

Re: The 'Transitional' Period

I think it's fair to say that after 26 years, a new manager of anything will be under going a transitional phase. It'll be the same with Arsenal when Wenger goes.

So when was our 'transitional phase' under MP?
Anyone with half a brain can see our 'transitional' phase is Pellegrini simply getting to grips with our away form. I say 'transitional' like that though because it is completely different to what is happening over the way there in Trafford. Again, the only thing that will come anything like close to the comparison will be when Wenger retires, although even that will be different. Ferguson ran the club from the bottom up, and for all that to end and one man come in with his own management team and ideas, well it was always going to go tits up, I just didn't think it would be this bad. It is a transitional period though, although not that it matters either way. It doesn't say 'Man United, 7th in the league due to a transitional period', that's just the label people are giving it for the change that has gone on, a change no club has had to have happen to it in the modern era.

Wrong answer.
Pellegrini, or any other premier league manager come to think of it, has never been afforded the luxury of a transitional period, a settling in period or any other fuckin period when the gutter press report a bad result.
You seem to be suggesting that the new manager at old scaffold has it harder because his piss stained predecessor was in the job for ages? Well i'm not having that.
Every new manager starts with a clean slate at every club and united and Moyes are no different. Having the old boss thrashing around the place like a lingering fart and breathing down the new boys neck won't be doing them any good but cutting them some slack because wee davey needs time to settle in is bollocks.

I am usually disappointed to see a club experience financial trouble, but I make an exception when it is United. If they don't get top 4 then they are in huge amounts of trouble. Rooney and RVP will leave.

The smart thing would be to fire Moyes, who has done a horrendously bad job and bring in someone better, but luckily they are too 'classy' to fire under performing managers.

Also they should spend big in January. In England we are aware of just how bad they are and the huge amount of trouble they are in. I don't think footballers in other areas yet realise just how much. If they come outside the top four meaning RVP and Rooney in transfer request then they will struggle to attract. Probably worth the gamble overpaying for players now.

The situation reminds me of Barcelona, before Ronaldinho went there. The difference is Barcelona actually had money to spend and fantastic youth players coming through. They tried to get Beckham and he rejected them, even Owen did. If Barcelona can suffer that much then so can United, who are in huge amounts of debt.

Moyes in charge for another 1 and a half could turn them into a top 6 club along with the Glazers.

Swansea (H) 3
Chelsea (A) 1
Cardiff (H) 3
Stoke (A) 3
Fulham (H) 3
Arsenal (A) 3
City (H) 1
Palace (A) 3
Liverpool (H) 3
WBA (A) 3
Villa (H) 3
West Ham (A) 3
Hull (H) 3
Newcastle (A) 1
Norwich (H) 3
Everton (A) 1
Sunderland (H) 3

46 points I think, unbeaten until the end of the season, I think we will go on a run, the players have too much pride to let this continue.
