You have to say this in a big booming voice like the ads for a movie
"in a world where football is not understood, the poster Bokonon has accurately assessed the strengths of both teams"

Do some of you ever watch football?
English might be his second language to be fair.

"Watch football"? Don't be silly. Of course I don't; I'm more a table tennis fan, to be honet.

Has Tia Maria burned his boat with the rags? If so PSG will get him for between 35 -40m otherwise the rags are going to have two players who are pissed off. If DeGea isn't sold do you still think he will work his balls of for them ? Or turn in a few iffy performances so that he can fuck off in January

From BBC Gossip: Manchester United's hopes of signing Real Madrid centre-back Sergio Ramos appear to be over with the 29-year-old set to agree a new contract with the Bernabeu club.

Wow, never saw that coming /sarcasm off. Another added to the list they tried but couldn't get. Being used like we used to for new contracts

The buffoon of a manager burned his bridge and will cost his club millions in the transfer market

Just had a quick look on the Ramos thread on redcafe. For some reason it went quiet on there this morning. Ho hum.

They'll end up selling Tia Maria for about £40 million and the press will lead with stories of how we could have had him for less than Sterling conveniently forgetting the huge loss the rags made on him after just a year at their shite club

I think there will be plenty more short term deals in the future. Woodward seems to like the marquee signings, but then tries to get rid of them a year later in a bid to offload their massive wages and make room for the next flavour of the month. After LVG's admission that a mystery "superstar" was in the pipeline (process) it will make Woodward look pretty silly if nobody comes in, especially after offloading RVP (250k per week) Falcao (£300k per week) Nani (110k per week) and now Di Maria (250k per week) from the wage bill. Over the course of a typical 4 year contract just these players alone amount to 189 million in wages.
