United have what i see as another issue with Rooney also. He is not that good anymore and has not been for a few years tbh. He is not going to get any better either.
He has ok games, terrible games and 2-3 really good ones a season now and this presents them a striker issue. Do they shove Rooney up top or pull him to midfield, do they even have a solid plan going forward for their striker issue even ?
There are not many decent strikers even available so this will be interesting, i feel another pants pulled down fee for someone on the way down.

Who can see the scousers getting it together and finishing above them? I can, champions league football to cope with and turtle head saying he is happy with his striker options. Only fat wazzer as a recognised striker doesn't bode well for the raggies.

Looks like they're getting Schweinsteiger. Decent signing for them.
31 when the season starts but if he can still do a job they have a player for a couple of years i guess.

Yeah, it's a short term solution and I think he's past his best. Still miles better than Daley Blind though.
