Isn't there a new rule this season that can retrospectively ban players for things like that? That is an utter disgrace, it's just plain cheating. I bet it gets ignored because it's the next world player of the year. Divers infuriate me at the best of times, even worse when it's a rag. I hope somebody really gives him something to fall on the floor over.

They have scored in two thirds of their games this season.
And if you're reading that thinking it's the sort of bollox a deluded rag might come out with, then it proves our theories about the rag wankers at BBC Sport as it pretty well matches some of the post-match analysis on the BBC site.

OK guys, put yourselves in the skin of a scum fan, I know, I know, but just go along with me for a minute.
Just think about how almost suicidal they must feel right now, not only at how totally abject their mighty reds have become - but how 'ickle City have surpassed them in almost every department, on and off the field - for now and for the foreseeable future.
How absolutely sick to the stomach they must feel. If the roles were to be reversed I'm not sure I could cope.
