I always used to feel that one of the worst things someone could feel about someone else was pity but it isn't.
The absolute worst is to have people laugh at you and I think most around the country are past the pitying Ushited stage and are now laughing at them.
It really must hurt

Exactly, in fact the next time the rags come to town rather than boo certain players we should all laugh out loud at them at times when they take a throw or a corner. I think it would be piss funny if fans started performing the Laurel and Hardy theme tune to Phil Jones. I'm sure the ridicule would hurt more than the booing

Despite my dad RIP being a red (bless him he was a sensible one & often slated them for getting lucky ) I hope they lose every game they ever play, they get humiliated in every transfer window, they get their hopes crushed every single fucking second of every day, they get screwed into the ground by their bizarre mall owning venture capitalist owners, their ground gets shut down due to pestilence, that each & every one of their fans has to watch us pick up trophy after trophy every year from now until they either & disappear.

And why....

They got lucky - we dropped the ball, we were the best, they got a great manager in Busby whilst we declined, they stole our fans, they used our ground, they never paid back their dues, they stole parts of our history, they exploited the deaths of their own & ours, they rampaged across Europe in the seventies in arrogance, they spent a fortune year in year out, they intimidated & bullied their way to trophy after trophy & mocked our fall from grace & gathered gloryhunters & sycophants in droves.

They deserve every moment of misery any football fan could possibly deserve.

It's because hardly any of them are from Manchester they have not got a clue of the intense local rivalry between the two clubs, granted we went through a low period buy we are back at the top and they are sinking, to many of them City are just another team they have not got a clue
Exactly this. What's hilarious is the way that Manchester rags go along with the 'we don't care about City' nonsense'. It's like some collective form of doublethink.

Watch my (rag) dad when City play Liverpool and say that the latter are united's biggest rivals. He ain't cheering for us, that's for sure.

Go to any Manchester workplace on a Monday morning or pub in Manchester on a matchday and say that the rivalry between City and united doesn't matter.

I was talking to a good mate who's a Liverpool fan who said the other day that our rise was their biggest nightmare, because it was so unexpected and because they have to face us every day and deal with it.

That they do not care about our current place in the footballing firmament simply does not stand up to any logical scrutiny.

Anyone who cannot see this is blind, stupid, lying or lives in Singapore.

They're buying Neymar for £240 million, It's official - it's on the back page of the Sun (according to TalkSport).
