why are they going to pay £240million for Neymar when he was in the united youth set just like rooney who's been on united books from the age of 12

not sure he'll get in the team, they've got a couple of prospects coming through, young lad called Bale & another kid called Müller, both from Ordsall, youth team since they were 4

Our quiet neighbours have sunk to aping us when we had to spunk ourselves to get established. Now "small club" Citeh has set itself up for the long term while they thrash about looking for any port in a storm.

It's highly amusing how the two clubs' respective MOs have interchanged. We've moved effortlessly into a club with a plan and a clearly defined strategy, whereas they've descended into showing all the control and restraint of a university student when his loan arrives in the bank.

Who'd have thought it, the mighty Man Utd trying to throw money around like a drunken sailor!

Now I know its only The Wright Stuff but a question on there just now indicates that 42% of rag fans live in the North West of England. Now my simple maths make that mean that what around 300m people who support the rags live in the North West ( taking their claim of a 650m global fanbase) - so 300m out of a UK population of @ 65m.............. somebody has fucked up with their maths somewhere....

The situation at United is perfectly understandable when you have to appease your legion of armchair sitting, daily star reading, plastic fans.

Instead of buying what they need in Otamendi and Pedro, they have though them players as not 'big enough' for United and instead gone on frivolous pursuits on the likes of Ramos and Neymar.

It's their delusion of self-importance that is holding them back and the way its going, us, Chelsea and Arsenal will leave them and Liverpool in the shadows.
