I like this post in Red Cafe

We're living the muppet dream.

Also

We're just a terribly, terribly run club.

Also in the same thread

when matt busby retired, we got relegated within 5 years...so we have improved in that regard.
But yes, its been a circus , there have been far too many things gone wrong to believe that all can be excused. I think a large part of it is that we dont seem to have planned well at all for Fergie's retirement, and seem to be throwing mud to the wall to see what sticks.

Finally, I like this one

It's been a total shambles thus far

They are really in shambles particularly with the de gea situation.

What would have been better, if they were not playing a bluff that they have little control of, was to accept the initial transfer terms and look into the market for a first choice goalkeeper. Other clubs will now have a measure of their desperation for a goalkeeper and that will add several million to the value itself. that Cillesen lad will be €10 million more expensive. So what's the point of trying to mark up a few million on de gea's transfer value when they will get exactly the same treatment.

It's like fixing a sinking ship with planks taken from the hull.

Until that place starts doing decent bacon sarnies, it should be boycotted by any City fan.
The only acceptable reason to go there is to remind them of this.
