I only remember SAF's United and I still find the knee jerk reactions a bit much.

1. SAF is the greatest manager of all time. He might even be the greatest coach in the history of all sports.

So this is from someone who only knows Fergie's reign? staggering. Sums up so many deluded young United fans.
There's no doubting Taggart was bloody good, but there were others who could certainly be argued to be as good, if not better.

As for the greatest in the history of all sports? I'm not even sure he'd be the best in a box of allsorts.

My only worry is spending mass amounts of money and not looking like we've progressed that much since Moyes.
Even amongst all the rambling nonsense on here at the moment this stands out as being so wrong. How can anybody say "we haven't progressed much since Moyes"? Believe me, without van Gaal, after the car crash that was 2013/14 under Moyes we would be battling it out with Spurs and Everton for Europa League football this year
