The one on the top left is an uncanny resemblance. No wonder he had to paysso much for them brasses. To anyother punter , they'd just be a £20 streetwalker.

Just seen this on Goal.com...........read it carefully.

Manchester United fans - it’s the one you’ve been waiting for. The Daily Mail says Phil Jones is set to sign a new deal with the club. The centre-back will gurn... sorry, EARN... £80,000-a-week.

Very proud to take first post on the new thread

Btw scum, but btw so much more than that, check earlier post for list....

This summer is exactly like Moyes'.

What's the point in going for completely unrealistic targets?

If De Gea leaves, I think they'll start the season weaker than they finished the last one.

Lol like they have chance of getting Ramos, just another player using them to get improved contract. I dont believe Ramos is even that good, but simply Perez wont allow player toleave who is wanted by them, he doesnt wanna show signs of weakness. Arrogant old cock

United entered last season needing to completely rebuild their defence, they spent heavily on Rojo, Shaw and Blind and now what do they need to do? Yep, they need to completely rebuild their defence! They've no right back to speak of at all (Valencia is a square peg in a round hole, and Rafael is a shit peg regardless of the size or shape of the hole), their centre halves are an Argentinian who is better at left back, and a selection of British options, all of whom are underwhelming at best (Jones, Smalling, Evans, McNair and Blackett), and their left backs are a Dutch defensive midfielder and a constantly injured, and seemingly overweight, over-priced prospect. When you also consider they need at least one striker too (Falcao has left and Van Persie is clearly in serious decline) and potentially a new keeper if De Gea, as seems likely, leaves for Real, this summer United need to spend a small fortune if they are going to even look like title challengers. Being linked with overly expensive "glamour" signings like Ramos and Schweinsteiger is akin to when we signed Robinho. A big name to placate the fans and seem relevant on the World Stage, but in reality a Band-Aid attempting to cover a gaping wound.

The Ramos thing confuses me.

United clearly aren't going to sign him, he's using them to get more money from Real Madrid. Yet United still desperately appear to be pursuing it.

They need a CB, go out and get a top CB? Why waste all summer on Ramos? It seems bizarre to me.

Just think of Woodward wearing clown gear and makeup and it'll become much easier to understand.
