For a number of reasons it is an overrated achievement. Still great, but in the last 10 years virtually every international record has fallen: Klose, Villa, Henry, Zlatan, Etoo, Drogba, Keane, RVP, Baros, Kerzhakov etc.I am absolutely dreading Shrek scoring today. Surprised to see Januzaj go out on loan. I tend to watch most Dortmund matches, but I don't see why Dortmund would start him if they did not have an option to buy. He is good cover since they have a lot of games and Reus has become injury prone.

On point! Far too many games internationally these days, takes away from what's meant to be a spectacle. And as you pointed out so many dud teams are out there now who concede bucket loads.
