I know we aren't supposed to quote anything out of the Red Cafe, but I had to have a little titter at the 'Lets win the league cup' thread, first couple of pages show just how 'not arsed' they were and some sheepish comments the morning after. Maybe just the treble for them this year then :)

Just had a look on Ragcafe and they now have a Wayne Rooney poll......Seems the majority are currently going with "they want him out,gone,sold,ASAP"

Oh dear....is it 3 or 4years to go?

philosophy stages:

1. bore the shit out of your fans
2. Panic and put A&E on and just become a £400 million Wimbledon
3. If you don't win, in the press conference state the other team were lucky
4. Delay posting attendance figures until your PR's photoshop department copy/pastes large sections of the crowd to hide the empty seats
5. Liaise with BBC and other media to ensure any images are cropped so only show the bottom tier and not the empty top tier in photos used
6.If all else fails, release another documentary
 
Guy at work is convinced that they were "making a statement" that they didnt want to be in the cup...
Good way of making it by going to extra time and tiring out your players

that must explain Blind's own goal then but unluckily for him Boro player was offside.
And thats why Romero "let" the ball go under his foot, but hes so shit, he didnt realise he was wide of his goal.
Its all making sense now.
