A couple of gems from Rag Wednesday last night...a caller said that he's staying away from The Swamp until Sir LVG goes (later changed it to 'or unless things improve'). And he doesn't wanna be like City fans, wanting a manager sacked......then later said he doesn't like wanting a manager to be sacked. Maybe he thinks we do it as a hobby. Then one of the studio guests called Briggs a gentleman on AND off the pitch! I'm sure there were other similar comments but my swearing at the radio must have drowned them out. And the U*^$%d Way got a mention to boot. They should change Matt Busby Way to the U*&%7d Way...

Now I'm not saying the GPC isn't a blatant hypocrite but did he ever actually say that? I don't recall anything at the time of the Robinho transfer and it's a quote I've only seen bandied about these past few months.

The bouncy castle, jelly and ice cream thing is so yesterday. We said that when we were shit and slightly making it in the big time. Now I want him alive until he is 101 so that everyday he sees his club slide further into oblivion whilst we march onwards and upwards. I want to enjoy the fact that in a few years time he can't watch a sports programme because it is all about us, when all he can do is remember how he ranted about the Tevez poster and realise that was just the start.
That said he will probably joss it just to keep us out of the headlines. My bet is it is the day we are playing in the Champs league Final !
