Man Utd receive ‘incredible’ Rooney offer from China
Manchester United have received “an incredible offer” for captain Wayne Rooney from a Chinese club, according to journalist Sam Luckhurst.

The Manchester Evening News reporter says a Super League Club have made a bid which United “would like to accept”.

Hope we get a good offer for yaya like this one who is a much much better player!

Hand snapped off in both cases. Would be nice to get a fee for Yaya instead of paying some pisstaking Italian club to take him on loan. But for me Yaya has earned a free to anywhere he wants for all he's been and done for us. Hope he gets a nice big last pay day and a few years in a slower paced, less physical league where he can shine again.

I feel the same about Yaya. He's repaid his transfer fee many times over and we should be helping him play where he wants to play, even if we miss out on the big fee.

Beancounters at the club will feel different no doubt. Which is fair enough.

Did they mention all the money united have spent in assembling their injured players?......

Oddly, not a word. Presumably leaving it unsaid that all the afflicted are products of their legendary youth system. Having watched it for a little longer between bouts of nausea, I realise I should have emphasised the "thiiirteeeeen" injuries. The number should be articulated with an incredulous, voice-cracking, almost emotional inflection. I fear I have not done it justice.

The in-depth analysis was good though. How many times LVG has been able to pick his first choice side and their results when he has. If one didn't know this was pure propaganda one would suspect Sky were active subscribers to our SOT campaign.

£308m vs £16m according to transfermarkt.
Though the £308m is from before the match...

so if a Chinese club offers us 10m we should turn it down, so yaya can get one last payday ????.
as for repaying his transfer fee,he earns £200000+ aweek ,if he wants to go then thanks good luck but not at the expense of city,we should do whats right for the club not yaya

Not very, if they get through this round they'll be playing on the Thursday before the derby in the last 16, personally i'd like them to lose in the final but would definitely prefer them to get through this round as we are already playing the Tuesday prior to the derby v Kiev, would be an obvious advantage for us for them to be playing the thurs.

Although I agree with everything you say, I still can't help myself laughing my head off with displays and performances like we saw last night.

Clubs cannot sell players against their will any more. If he doesn't want to go to China then he won't, regardless of the offer. He will either go where he wants or we will have him for another season if we cannot cone to some sort of deal over his contract with his preferred club.

The best clubs can do is make it very hard for players they want to keep to go.

I'd be happy to see him go in his own terms. Just getting him off the wage bill without paying off his contract would be a big fee in itself. And yea, I think he's earned a last pay day. I'd say the same thing of Silva and Aguero if they are still here at that stage of their careers.

The reporting of last night's heroic defeat in the face of the worst injury crisis a side has ever faced is hilarious.

Had that been us however.......

If Yaya didnt want a move to China and we missed out on the fee I would be fine with it.

Turtle was asked about the fans chanting "We're fucking shite", he said "“ They can do because when you see the second half maybe they are right".
Haha, having to admit they are "fucking shite" is a new low surely

I turned on a couple of minutes into the game so assumed I'd missed the commentator telling us, as I imagined that would be the first thing he said.

We also missed the bit where injuries are not an excuse when you have all these International players available

"Louis van Gaal has said the 'law of Murphy' is to blame for Manchester United's shock Europa League defeat at FC Midtjylland."

I love this guy being in charge of them. Absolutely off his tits!! Long may it continue!!
