There's no way Van Gaal will be sacked IMO. It's always been their intention to have him see out his contract and hand over in summer 2017, regardless of performance. They as a club are far too stubborn for their own good.

74,633... got to say it looked a bit sparser than that , but its there in black and white so it must be true

It's so obvious now it's embarrassing.

Those BBC c****'s over at Mediacity will do anything to appease United after upsetting the GPC and his Son.

Tonight.

Analysis
BBC Sport's Simon Stone at Old Trafford.

"Manchester United are known for their worldwide support and it is true that fans tend to come from far and wide to games at Old Trafford.

"Evidently, with the FA Cup final to come on Saturday, many decided, at 48 hours' notice, this was a match too far.

"United count season ticket holders in their attendance figures whether they are present or not. Officially, since the ground was expanded to its current capacity, their lowest Premier League crowd was 73,401 for the visit of Stoke in January 2011.

"I can say with absolute certainty that the crowd tonight is below that, although the same could be said for the visits of Aston Villa and Crystal Palace last month, when higher figures were recorded."

I've had a great laugh tonight with my United mates about all their empty seats....and also about the pathetic crowd they had against Crystal Palace. They just can't take it when the tables are turned....hahaha!!!!.

In my experience the rags who get most offended and defensive about poor attendances are the ones who watch every match in the pub

LOL yeh Jose needs a reality check. A managers graveyard, not what he needs after his Chelsea stint ended badly.
He's gagging for the job just the same. Has been for years, the eye-gouging fucktard.

They're turning on the owners again but you can't say there's been under investment. The problem is a shit transfer policy, not lack of ambition. Nonetheless, prepare to see the return of the hilarious Norwich City scarves if LVG is still there in August.

Has it been revised up ? BBC gave it as 74,363.
Stupid figure that - the commentator on PLP said that no Utd official was prepared to state the attendance but to him it was the lowest since the mid-1990s and the capacity was lower in those days.
My next door neighbour believes it was just over 100,00 as they added the two figures (Sunday & Tuesday) together.
Deluded dickheads.

No way was it lower than the Palace game a couple of weeks back..the ground was virtually empty that night , it was embarrasing i couldn,t stop laughing at the pics posted on here from the palace end.

Out of interest what does PLP stand for BK?

PLP is PremierLeaguePass - a service that covered ALL Premier League games throughout the season - unfortunately it will not be available next year due to cost.
