Funny how the media aren't going mental about them signing Mourinho behind van Gaal's back.

It will be interesting to see who they buy. In between the players that will go elsewhere, the players that are not for sale and the ones he's fell out with and alienated there aren't that many left....

Just read about their players singing that song after winning the fa cup.....what a small minded bunch of arses they really are and they have now proved what a bunch of twats we all knew they were

The fall out if they fail to finish top four will be great next season. Maureen is a cancer and that has been proved both at Real Madrid and above all Chelsea which he considered his home.

No doubt he will make them better but at what cost, his teams are fucking boring, he doesn't promote youth something the raggy bastards seem to think they own the rights to. Also didn't some of the people above including bacon chops not want Maureen ? Could be a recipe for disaster as soon as the results don't go his way

It's a thing of beauty.

8 years ago, ickle citeh were jusy an irrelevance, 'forever in their shadow'. Now after finishing behind us 4 out of the last 5 seasons, we consume their thoughts to the point even their fucking players sing about us right after picking up a trophy ffs.

The appointment of Maureen is nothing more than a thinly disguised attempt to keep up with the Jones's and a roll of the dice.....I fucking love it. Roll on next season.

That's what I meant actually. They are there just because they are Dutch. Moaninho will not give them the extra nice treat they are used to from old Louis.

I see
Blind will probably end up in Italy or back in Holland, suits his (lack of) pace - I get the impression he's a bit of a teachers pet and is only a professional because his dad was. In all seriousness, does anyone really think he was was really one of the better players to come out of the Ajax academy? If he was, it must have been a bad batch!

As for Depay, I have no idea where he will end up. He's fucking rubbish!

Louis van Gaal left Manchester United's London hotel on Sunday without being told by the club that Jose Mourinho is set to succeed him as manager.

The BBC understands that Saturday's FA Cup final win over Crystal Palace was Van Gaal's last game in charge.

The 64-year-old has now travelled back to Manchester along with his squad.

However, it is understood neither the Dutchman nor his coaching staff have been told what is happening by United's executive vice-chairman Ed Woodward.

Van Gaal said "it's over" when a reporter approached him as he left the hotel on Sunday - but he is said to have been referring to his side's season rather than his own job.

Other members of Van Gaal's Old Trafford staff are believed to be unhappy at the lack of communication from the club's hierarchy.
