This forum is a disgrace. Where is the Save Our Bryan campaign ? The man has been at the Swamp for 29 years he deserves a chance to be number two under another manager. Have you lot no heart ?

Bryan Riggs is a snivelling little **** and is definitely a number 2, for this campaign 'I'm out'

No he didn't. The club extended his contract last summer by a year and then paid him off his final year.

He was sacked.

I've never seen it as him being sacked, as I've always had the impression that he knew he was coming in to steady the ship for a couple of seasons until Guardiola could come in. It seemed like he was complicit in the arrangement and even when he signed the two year extension he was fully aware he would be leaving after one. I guess technically that might still amount to having been sacked but i don't feel it's that black and white.

Either way, we've managed to get the manager we've been after for the past 4 years and United have ended up with the one they've been trying to avoid for the past 4 years. Sounds good to me.

He signed a one year extension, not two, last summer.

That changed his three year deal, to a four year one. Either way, we have terminated it early. And Pellegrini would rather be managing City than Everton.
