Ragamuffins have to feed on a few scraps these days. Perhaps they have adopted our mindset of a few years ago when I thought we could be relegated just as long as we stuffed the Swamp Donkeys twice. Embarrassing as fuck doing a lap of honour only if a trophy is at stake at the end of the match or it’s the final game of the season where players walk round pitch to thank the fans,it actually shows them up even more how fucking small time they are ..

Lap of honour is pretty pathetic, enjoy the derby win, for sure but that’s about it. The media wankfest is completely ott too. They’ll invent a 5th place trophy just for United.

When we were a mid-table team I'd have got giddy about a win over the rags, so fair fucks. Stage one of the plan was turning them into 90's Liverpool, stage two of them becoming early 2000's city is underway, and god willing we'll see them turn into late '90's city before long. The league double trophy will polish up nicely next to their 2nd leg of the league cup shield.
