Is anybody in the media questioning their no mark manager like they’ve been questioning Pep?
He has been questioned all season. Pep has been dining out on what Messi, Xavi and Iniesta did for him for in Europe for coming up to a decade now.

I'm not sure he has been questioned that harshly. All I seem to hear and this has been said for a while now, is how they need more players and have to spend to compete at the top level. How much have they spent on that squad??

As for Pep, although he has come up short in Europe, he has won countless domestic trophies. He took over Barcelona with no top level management experience and turned them into seriel winners playing arguably the best football the world has seen. Did he have some world class players? Sure but what team.succeeds at the top level.without such?

Ha ha ha. WTF?!?

He’s not been questioned once. Spent a fortune and won nothing... not even the losers cup

Peps managed the centurions and the Fourmidables..twice he’s surpassed anything the rags have ever achieved in a single season

James could be a decent signing for them - he caused us a few problems at Swansea last season - and I can understand why they might move away from their policy of signing established “stars”. It’s hardly been a roaring success for them of late. They’ve tried everything else, so they might as well have a go at signing young unproven players. But then you read that they’re still offering contract extensions to the likes of Young, Jones, Smalling and now Mata, and it makes you wonder what on earth their strategy for next season actually is.

If they lost De Gea and Pogba then their top six place could be under genuine threat from the likes of Wolves and Everton.

Every time I watch them I’m staggered by how poor James is. Absolute headless chicken. He’ll be back at Swansea on loan within 18 months
