Fair enough about the pace aspect but their football was poor. They had two shots on target in the whole game and Wolves were woeful except for about 20 mins in the second half. In the first half Wolves could not pass the ball and looked a shadow of last season's team.
Maybe l am comparing their football and thinking about the way City play and the incredibly high standard of football we are privileged to watch every week.
They stopped Wolves coming close to their goal in first half. Considering how many they conceded last season, it's definitely an improvement. I know Wolves were bad and have Torino in Europa play-off, but Rags will be better this season, at least at the back. Not sure about the attack though, Lukaku didn't play in many games last season and he scored in some he did. They haven't bought his replacement, so not sure where the goals will come from to significantly improve.
Wheeler is an absolute amateur, he doesn't have a clue how to change the match. All he is doing is trying to replicate what Ferguson did in his time. Kick it up to someone fast and score from that.
