Tbf I've always called him 'fergie' since September 23 1989 when the Kippax roared "Taxi for fergie!!" tauunting utd fot the last 30 mins of The Maine rd Massacre ..Before the match no Blue seriously expected us to win..to then watch us score 5 past the most expensive team in Britain. ..that last half an hour on the Kippax was dreamland watching Platt lane empty of rags and Blues openly laughing out loud waving them home...that's the first time id ever heard him called fergie .and it's stuck.a whole 30 mins to wallow in a victory and taunt reds looking shell shocked and utterly broken....
