Pogba will go because he doesn't like playing second fiddle to Fernandez, Fernandez will then get injured, leaving the creativity (penalty cheating) to Pingu - aaaannnnd back down to 6th, their natural position..

Having to get over 90 plus points is the new normal to win a league now. They have not been in a title race since 2013, they’ve only broke the 80 points mark under Mourinho. They need to really spend big to plug the gap, a champions league group stage and trying to get going in the premier league will mean game time for the likes of Phil Jones and Jesse Lingaard when they have to rotate. Not good enough if you have to go somewhere decent away in Europe then play an away fixture in the league afterwards. They got found out at Wembley last week when Solksjar tried to be clever with his line up.

Will the Glazers sanction more spending when the wider world is in a very choppy place at the moment? Better for them to take that lovely champions league money and give themselves a nice pay cheque they can use to spend elsewhere in their failing investments.

My conclusion is - don’t be worrying about this lot parading a premier league trophy round Trafford any time soon.

Merson has upset sadcafe by saying that scum will have to spend around £700 million on the squad to compete. That rehab must be working the fog in his head clearing !! As if scum can lay their hands on that sort of cash!

Mystic Mat predicts:

An artificial title race between the rags and the dippers in the vein hope they get a TV moment that drowns out the Sergio moment.

Apparently, leaving it all to a 71st min penalty on the last game of the season was the plan all along.
He has now proven his doubters wrong and he did it his way and the united way and with united DNA. (WTF???)
Since the restart they have been on title winning form.

So no thought that they had fairly easy games since the restart, and have been gifted the most penalties in premier league history?
Or that huffing and puffing until the ref gave a penalty means they are back?
No comments on the vast amounts spent has resulted in finishing the last two seasons with the same 66 points?

The only thing back is the arrogance.
What a line that is.........

If United were to somehow muster a title challenge against Liverpool it'd be interesting to watch the torn apart media go at it with itself.

On another note, that'd allow us to go under the radar much like we were in 2013-2014.

I thought the new Stan Laurel and the weasel were on their way to Newcastle.

;-)

I think that would create a media feeding wank fest headlines all season about how great the EPL is the istory of these great rivals constant replays documentaries of halcyon triumphs both have had. Busby and Shankly anecdotes by the bucket full. And all achieved through progressive youth policies and good valued investments.....

United vs Liverpool final day match, seems odds on
The dream ticket they play each other both have identical records a draw will make history and they will share the title a outcome already agreed and sanctioned. The only way this can be spoilt is if CITY beat Everton 7-0 at Goodson ............ last minute penalty.... Edersonnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnn

Lindgard's agent pimping his client to other clubs.

I'm sure Newcastle/Burnley/West Ham fancy him but can't afford the silly contract he's on now that Agent Woowar gave him.
