So basically, he has fielded a weakened side made up of mainly youngsters BEFORE they have actually qualified.
This is because they have a massive match against the mighty ASTON VILLA (at home!) at the weekend.

According to Wiki's list of City bosses, Pearce won 34 out of 96 games as manager, or 35.42%. (I don't recall him winning that many, but...)
