Just passed the Stadium of Shite on my train. Noticed there's some cranes doing some cosmetic work on the back of the Stratford End. Couldn't see a demolition ball sadly.

I'll just wait for their insurance claim....

Just looked on the Trafford council website and they are building a garage for an open top bus. Must be a way to circumvent FFP, pioneered by the dippers

Just seen that they are paying 3000 casual staff regardless of match cancellations.Fair play to them for that.Really need City to do the same now.
Correct & no doubt they will.

However & no surprise the headline in daily fail was about the wonderfully generous rags & followed up with " a wall of silence at City about doing the same " Could this be the same club who threw out players & families from their homes after Munich ?

And, recently, terminated the former City player's family's access to their seats in the executive boxes.

From the gossip page on BBC:
On-loan Manchester United striker Odion Ighalo, 30, earns £8,000 per goal and £9,000 for every win on top of his £180,000-a-week wages at Old Trafford

The way the media drones on about his love for Utd and he took a pay cut, you would assume he was on about 60k a week not this huge packet.

And a quick check shows he was on £1.2m a year in China. Some "pay cut" that

Ed just loves paying stupid salaries to 2nd and 3rd rate players , Phil Jones , Lingard etc come to mind.

No wonder Ighalo was so keen to sign for his boyhood heroes .
