I know it's the mail but even by their standards this is utterly pathetic.

Under UEFAs new club perception rule, the Lockdown Champions get automatic CL qualification for next season, does the season need too finish its conclusion for City to be relegated as we are currently bottom of the same table.

Interesting that the City 1894 huge banner event on Friday is at a undisclosed location, this must be too avoid the planned lockdown victory parade and presentation.

The bit about turning of the stadium lights to spell MaNcHeSter is bull shit

they nick it of a tee shirt , I know the lad who designed it !

Have to say, I've got a lot of time for Marcus Rashford. Seems like a genuinely good guy.

Aye, he seems like a proper genuine lad and fair play to him he's made a ton of donations and given up a lot of time to charities in Manchester - especially around feeding kids who'd usually be on free school meals etc. Rivalry of course, but we can stand up and congratulate the good work he's done

Or is it just a very well oiled publicity machine ? I am sure other people, not just footballers are doing tons to support their local community but the press are not interested in them and they are not interested in self publicity.
This isn't a post attacking a Rag, it is about reading between the lines. When Covid first struck a bloke and his wife stuck fliers all over our area, the first part said if you cant get shopping/prescriptions etc ring this number and we will get it for you. The second part said If you can help ring this number. The group have arranged meals for the elderly, NHS staff etc, done shopping even gardening, these are my heroes.

These people who help the elderly BM. Do you have a contact number for them?
The wife had had me sweeping and mopping the house this morning and any help offered will be greatly appreciated. I think I would rather be back working than doing housework. And I am 64 in a couple of weeks time,so I am not sure if I qualify as elderly or not. I am definitely a FOC though if that helps them decide.

it's nice of these footballers to send supportive messages though I find it tasteless that people loop them in and then trumpet them as some sort of hero, particularly if they're from particular teams.

Must be from a while ago otherwise they should all be done for not social distancing, as it's otherwise strange to pop up now. Nasty behaviour towards someone with disabilities so I'm glad it's been highlighted, see this sort of scrote all the time in Manchester, the sort who were not brought up properly and have no respect or deference, but can't say I condone or like the uploader's crusade, getting them fired etc, just something about public shaming and pretty much reverse bullying that doesn't sit right. A quandry because they've deserve to be punished but the Twitter way of retribution doesn't sit right, especially when the people doing it themselves are no saint, just becomes a vicious cycle.

Oh so sorry, the one rule for safety and security is the volunteer will not go in someones house. If it helps though, one tip I could give you, sweep away from you not towards you, that way you don't get covered in dirt.

Here to help - Happy to help.

Yep I am far from a lover of anything rag but I will always love and respect people who are just decent and know to do the right thing

I’ve obviously got no great love for that lot, but like you say there, decent people do decent things. Fair play to the lad. Same with Neville, one of my most hated players ever, but I think he’s brilliant now. If someone had said I’d type that sentence twenty years ago, I’d have told them to have a lie down...haha!
