The real beauty of this now is that I can think of a few different occasions that this is applicable under 3 different managers.........It should have 10....

In another thread I may have mentioned that I have watched the massacre quite a few times during lockdown and I am still amazed at how that wasn't given and how, like you say the commentator stated it was a coming together !!

In was in the north stand that day and it happened right in front of me. Even the linesman missed it. Ergh the linesman didn't miss it, he just didn't flag for it, a huge difference.

Bent fucker....we didn't help ourselves in the first half but the free kicks he gave them every 2 mins were as bad as the pen decision.

How Atkinson didn't give it - either he is incompetent and is unfit for purpose, or he was being well paid .
Imagine what would have been said if it was committed on Utd/Pool/England.
It should be shown over and over as an example of injustice and incompetence by officials on the pitch. It sickens me. It must have been deliberate on his part.
It's not good enough to say "Refs don't get an instant playback", or "Players make mistakes, why can't refs be allowed to?"
