Simon Stone doing a shit job on the bbc website of spinning United’s “cultural reboot “. , Cavani excepted of course
"Amad Diallo is someone they have scouted for quite a long time. He is very inexperienced. He has been at Atalanta for a while but he came over from the Ivory Coast.

He is the kind of player that Manchester United have been building towards signing - a young player that they can develop.

I hesitate to use the name Cristiano Ronaldo but they signed Ronaldo as a relatively young player, he was a little bit more experienced than Diallo but he too was 18 years old.

That is what Manchester United are working towards, this ability to bring in players and develop them into world stars who play for Manchester United.

That is the cultural reboot of United, which the club said they were working towards in the wake of Jose Mourinho's departure. That is what this kind of signing is aimed at.

Diallo's signing is more in line [with the cultural reboot] than someone like Edinson Cavani."

I hadn't thrown up in a long time as much as I just have. (Fake) Ronaldo was bought in the 00's, this is the 20's. Januzi, that Italian who once scored against Villa, Wellbeck, O'Shea etc. That conveyor belt has just continued to churn out star after star since then...not. Simon Stone may have been the scum press officer and still do the same job, but paid for by the BBC, but he is just the same as all those desperate fucks that infest twitter, BBC football and newspaper comments sections and those rag twats that text the BBC during matches and get their ridiculous southern/welsh/whatever comments printed out. Life is not great at present but they bloody well cheer me up.

He thinks it's a wank signing. Jim Shite had to cut him off earlier when he was giving his opinion.
And a few minutes ago he said Cavani has been offered to everyone and no one would have him, probably because of his £200,000+ a week wage demands.
Not what sky want to hear,as they have the rag masses to appease and make out every one of their signings are the best of all teams in the window ..

To paraphrase @Mad Eyed Screamer ’s idle. (Sic)

panic on the streets of London
panic on the streets of Bergen, then
They wonder to themselves
Could life ever be fergie* again
Oh The english leagues that youll slip down
You wonder to yourself
Hopes dashed by the glaziers
But humble pie, you’re not for sale here
So you’re rundown
To the safety of the duvet
But there’s panic on the streets of Cornwall
Dublin, Bombay and their backslide
You wonder to yourself

Torn down the banner
Keep the brilliant ceo
Cos the football you seem to now play
Keeps me laughing for all my life
Keep the brilliant ceo
Cos the football you seem to now play

Oh the English leagues youll slip down
The Paul Pogba that just jogs around

Keep the ceo, keep the ceo, keep the ceo
Keep the ceo, keep the ceo, keep the ceo
Keep...

trouble with that theory is that the rags set up is dated and their academy , scouting network and coaching staff have been left behind by a lot of the current premiership sides
