Cavani screams of desperation.

In a few months will be 34 years old and has had injury problems the last two seasons when he was previously always fit.

Looks like another Falcao move to me.
Yep, look at his games played:

16/17 - 50
17/18 - 48
18/19 - 33
19/20 - 22

To be fair to him though, other than last year where he scored 7, he's kept scoring goals during all that. 23 in 33 in 18/19.

He was a top player, not world class but the bracket below. Emphasis on the word was. Problem is he was scoring these goals in a one team league. Bit like saying Leigh Griffiths is a top striker because he used to score plenty for Celtic

I'd just finished playing golf & had a text to say they were 5-1 down, got to the club house at FT...my mate was chatting to a couple of guys he'd not seen for years and is quite loud, apparently they were rags (but not until sometime next week...shithouses one & all) as were a good 50% of people on the balcony. My spider senses were kicking in.

I made mention of another 6-1 and went off on a recap of the day, mate asks me who was in charge of the rags.....couldn't help myself with all the grumbling rags around me and I replied the one & only football genius Moyes nobody put me right, makes you wonder if any of the cunts even knew I was taking the piss but, just to make sure they did I got a few mentions of my #SOO thread on here.

It was very quiet.
I regularly see the same rags in the working week, I now have to bring footy up(unlike the old days when they couldnt wait to gloat) my standard convo starter is "who have you got at the weekend" they very rarely know. This has happened countless times and they cant even be arsed to find out in advance, all their "support" ever amounted to was checking that they had won, then taking the piss out of those whos team hadnt won. It takes a certain type of person to be a certain type of rag, and that club suits them to a tee.

  1. I see the notification of my post being quoted
  2. It's quoted in the United thread
  3. It's my transfer post about us buying Chiesa

Yea no idea what happened there !!!!

Nothing is more symptomatic of the extreme disarray that that club is in than that they have bought a player who was good in his day, but who is way past his sell-by date. They spent the summer fruitlessly chasing Sancho — now that acquisition would have been another story altogether, and I'll admit that I was slightly worried that that was going to go through — and Cavani is not even a consolation prize.
They will not get back on to the top perch that they occupied so arrogantly for twenty years, or at least, not in my lifetime. Or is it testing the gods to say that…

Is it me or does Martin Tyler commentate differently in Rags game than with our games?
On Sunday he sounded miserable and down after each spurs goal.
Contrast this to the previous week and he sounded ecstatic after each Leicester goal.
Why can't sky use impartial unbiased commentators and what is Tyler's issue with us?
