United thread 2020/21

I remember a couple of years back when West Ham fans kicked off in their stadium and they were universally vilified. Seems that wasn't the right type of protest and perhaps they should have attacked the police.
The double standards around this mirror the double standards when it comes to officiating. Why is anyone surprised...??

The sight of so many people both individually and collectively literally shitting themselves trying not to be the one who condemns the protesters has been nauseating. With the exception of Graeme Souness, who clearly got the corporate message to button it part way through, everybody else must have splinters in their arses. Policemen injured, flares/cans thrown, property damaged ... just a "mindless few" in a relatively peaceful protest. The worst image was of them trying to 'roll' somebody's car over on Chester Road, that could have been any one of our family in that car and it's disgraceful that the media are complicit in ensuring that it doesn't receive any coverage. It really does demonstrate the stranglehold Man U still retain over the media, I know it's a tired cliche but it's absolutely true on this occasion: if that had been fans of any other club they would be getting pilloried by the media, the PL, the FA and fans of every club, and rightly so.
I won't be holding my breath, but if there aren't meaningful sanctions applied to Man U then there is every chance this type of protest, with the aim of ensuring a match abandonment, could become common place. Their fans have shown that they are determined and capable of causing damage, fear and injury and their club has shown, once again, that they are powerless to protect the safety of people and the security of their premises. That isn't a situation that can either be allowed to continue or go unpunished.
Excluding Corona virus restrictions how can a 50k crowd be controlled which is likely to include ca 200 protesters with a common disruptive aim?

Either forget normal spectator viewing or show that these organized 200 can be ruthlessly punished by police and Club.

This is 100% jealousy and its funny

In their mind they thought we would win maybe 1 to 2 titles with our ownership when the sheikh came in. Not that we were going to dominate a good couple of years of english football winning trophy after trophy and continue to win another league title this year, another cup and possibly a champions league final. its killing them. its a nightmare for any rag fan that little old city are now winning title after title attacting the best players in the world.

They want what we have no matter how many times they say we dont care about you lot winning alot its eating them up in side they cant take it anymore, Glazers are shit owners right but they've spent more money than us on transfers and managers and still not won a league title. Now that mystique of united being the club, players who have exceptional quality want to go to is becoming a thing of the past and little old City are attracting those players now.

You can see it already players growing up not wanting to play for united but City. Young superstar players who havent seen a united title win in years. But have seen Man City win title after title having players like Yaya Sergio, Silva,KDB , Kompany the list goes on and on.

The champions league is the last round of ammunition they can use against us, now that we are close to a final in that competition the rags are in panic mode. Such as this season if we win the champions league with the prem and the cup thats still a treble. Record after record eclipsing Rag history replacing it with City history thats whats killing them
